Mr. John Hatfield, Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board, gave a summarization of where we are. One of the areas we had problems with was convenience stores; and we wanted to look at changes to the commercial zones and how we could handle that. The Planning and Zoning Board went to work on that and a great deal of time was spent on these changes. The whole design and concept of this proposed revision is to provide flexibility within the commercial zones in a way that allows people to utilize their property to the maximum while considering people close to them and what their utilization is going to be. There was discussion on the proposed revision. A Workshop meeting was scheduled for July 17, 7:00 p. m. Commissioners are to review up to page 32 in the proposed revision and then if there are any questions they will be discussed. The meeting was adjourned at 8:18 p. m. Respectfully submitted, Mary T.
