Roll Call: Mayor John V. Torcaso, present Deputy Mayor Buck Adkins, present City Manager Richard Rozansky, present Commissioners: Jim Hartman, present Inez Linville, present William Jacobs, present Leanne Grove, present Also present: Police Chief John Govoruhk Fire Chief Charles Holzman City Engineer/P.W. Director Chuck Hassler Gordon Monday, Architect/Planner for Municipal Complex Discussion of municipal facilities planning study with Gordan Monday: The following changes were made: Police Department: Communications Center to be made bigger - 14 x 16 Evidence room to be made a little smaller - 8 x 20 or 8 x 16 Interrogation - 2 rooms 8 x 8 Delete Line Up Polygraph - 6 x 6 Armory - 8 x 8 Lounge - make smaller Gym, Squad Room and Training Room - 1200 sq. ft. for all 3 rooms The dogs are to be housed behind the police station. Social services to be combined with Community Relations - 12 x 16 Office Supplies - 8 x 8 Training research - 8 x 10 Discussion of pistol range - it was suggested one range for the whole county with all 7 cities sharing. Bicycles to be stored down at the Public Works Compound. City Manager: City Manager's office - 16 x 20 Discussed combining storage area and getting a microfilm processor. Delete waiting room. Commissioners room - 14 x 16 Toilets were deleted. City Clerk: Delete Toilet. Vault changed to 10 x 12 . . . Workshop Meeting, City Commission, Feb. 23, 1984 Page 2 Planning & Zoning: Delete toilet. Combine Workroom/storage and drafting Take out plan file Building Department: Delete Toilet. Plan Files to be combined with Workroom. Public Works and Engineering: Add Shower Commission Chambers: Delete Commissioners 10 x 32 General Space: Lobby & reception change to 25 x 40 Discussed the air conditioning possibly putting it on the roof. Delete contingency. Employee Lounge was added - 20 x 30. Public restrooms - 2 small handicap. In Sec. 3.2.2 City Manager, Add office for Director of Administrative Services 14 x 16 Change Lawyer's office to Personnel 12 x 14. Sec. 4.2 Parking Requirements were discussed. City Manager was changed to 15; Planning & Zoning, Public (At Peak Times) was deleted; Building Department - add 3 spaces; Public Works add 3 spaces: Commission Chambers Public Seating change to 100 spaces.
