• This property was noticed to have loose trash and debris
scattered throughout the property and city right of way.
The tenants frequently place their trash cans/toters out for
pickup ahead of and after pickup days. Oftentimes, the
cans are left curbside indefinitely. Trash pickup for this
street is Monday and Thursday.
• When this is done, vultures and other pests scatter the trash
everywhere creating a hazard for the community.

• The NCV letter was sent on June l , 2016 and was received
June 4, 2016. The letter prescribed a correction time of
June 8, 2016. That deadline was not met, as conditions
persisted and trash cans were left curbside. Loose trash
was everywhere. To date, the owner has not contacted me.
• City ordinance 17- 1 restricts leaving any object along the
city right of way or streets, particularly those creating a
hazard. A trash toter was also seen on Wednesday, July 8.

• The trash scattered along the public areas was removed by
city crews. I recommend the owner be given until 8/8/16
to correct the violations or a fine of $250 dollars a day be
imposed due to the health/welfare issue created by these
conditions.
