Mayor Granville Brown
City Hall
Village of North Orlando
Florida
Dear Mayor Brown:
The Winter Springs Development Corporation has asked
me as their agent, to formally request a review of
Winter Springs Units Nos. 3 and 4 .
The plats were submitted previously, and supplementary
information concerning the lake in Unit 4 is attached
for your information and review.
Units 3 and 4 are part of the Winter Springs development
as described in the Winter Springs Report and the Winter
Springs Annexation Agreement previously submitted to the
Village of North Orlando.
Unit 4 has all residential lots with a minimum lot size
of 15, 000 square feet, and an overall density of less
than two units per acre. Winter Springs Unit 3 consists
of large estate lots , with an area of approximately two
acres each.
Recreational requirements are satisfied by the existing
stable, and the large park and golf course which are
being constructed at the present time in the core area
of Winter Springs .
We would appreciate your review and authorization to pro-
ceed with these two important parts of the Winter Springs
development.
Sincerely yours ,y1 7/

Engineer's Study For Lake Expansion
Winter Springs, Unit 4
Village of North Orlando, Florida
,
It is proposed to expand two existing lakes within Unit 4 into
one large lake. The enlarged lake will have a water depth of
ten ft. - max which exists in the lake to the north. It will have
a sand bottom and there is evidence that the existing lake may be
spring fed. The expanded lake will have a gentle scope from
each lot to the water for safety as well as easy maintenance.
In checking old TOPO maps it shows that these lakes have
maintained suitable water depths for years and the average
water elevation of 46. 0+ exists in the other lakes just west of
Tuskawilla Road
Attahced are two sketches showing a typical plan and cross section.
