These Proclamations correspond with Awards
and Presentations "101" for the May 11, 2015
City Commission Regular Meeting and were
presented on this date by Mayor Charles Lacey.
IffHERF-LAS, Winter Springs High School is an A+ school and part of the renowned Seminole County Public Schools; and
in accordance with the mission statement of Winter Springs High School which is "Through the individual
commitment of all, our students will graduate with the values, skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to be
productive citizens" - and through its outstanding Principal Dr. Mickey Reynolds and her excellent administration, do offer
many great opportunities for their students to learn, grow, and achieve; and

organization, which for a number of
years has offered high schools in Seminole County a chance to participate in their annual "Character Key Video Contest"
whereby students address issues that are of concern as identified by the Seminole County Youth Commission through a video
production contest; and
this contest has students from Seminole County high schools producing videos which address the problems
facing students and which focus on twelve important "character keys" that are also taught. through Seminole County Public
Schools - "caring ", "courage ", "courtesy ", "fairness ", "generosity ", "gratitude ", "honesty ", "knowledge ", "patriotism ", "respect ",
"responsibility ", and "service "; and

c, Kyle Edler, Cory Lubrano, Daisy Martinez, Jakob Rolly, and
Daulton Znoska as students of Winter Springs High School, served as student producers under the excellent leadership of
Faculty Sponsor Ms. Dawn Wilkerson, and submitted a Video entry in the "Leadership Seminole" - "Character Key Video
Contest" for the year 2015; and
these awesome student producers completed this winning video as an additional project to their normal busy
teenage lives, and all learned to work collectively and "bear down" to achieve this outstanding accomplishment and definitely
made their fellow students, teachers, faculty, school, and community very proud of their awesome achievement!
