one broke into a house and vandalized

that someone stole 85 personal, blank
checks on his closed account and cashed
them in a total amount of$985.72.

A man was charged with carrying a con-
cealed weapon after a search found he
had a double-bladed knife. He had earlier
threatened a woman at her house,and she
had called police.
