On Jan.22 soon after midnight,
the Oviedo and Winter Springs Police
Departments were called in to inves-
tigate a shooting and possible homi-
cide that occurred on SR434 east of
Tuskawilla Rd.Awoman,with a gun-
shot wound to her neck,walked from
the LD Plant location to a Mobil sta-
tion for help. She was airlifted to
ORMC. Police found an abandoned
dark-red four-door car,with the back
seat kicked out and a body,dressed in
shorts and a tee shirt,with duct tape
wrapped around the eyes,mouth,and
hands,in the trunk.The victims were
brother and sister.

Boy, 14, arrested, jailed

WINTER SPRINGS — A 14-
year-old Winter Springs boy was
arrested Friday and charged with
'shooting a BB gun into a loaded
school bus.
The boy, who was hiding in a
:wooded area, fired one shot into a
front window of the bus about 5
p.m. Friday as it was turning from
County Road 419 onto North Moss
Road, said Lt. Fred Gold of the
'Winter Springs Police Depart-
ment.No one was injured.
The youth was apprehended
and charged with shooting into a
fnoving vehicle, a felony. He was
being held in the Seminole Coun-
ty Regional Juvenile Detention
Winter. Gold did not know which
