In the 14-15 age group,Brooks finished first all around with a score of 35.85,winning floor exercise(9.2)and taking second in bars(9.0)and beam (9.0). She also took second place honors for the weekend high in her age group. Following close behind was Erwin with a fourth place finish(35.30) and three events:first in vault(8.95)bars(9.10)and floor exercise(9.2). Lauren Brinton of Winter Springs won State Champ on the beam with a score of 9.50. Jennifer Camps of Sanford won State Champ on the bars with a score of 9.375. Deputy Sheriff Steve Farris was on Palm Springs Drive near Altamonte Springs about 2:20 AM when he noticed a silver Dodge exceeding the speed limit. Deputy Farris eventually stopped thevehicle on North Street near Altamonte Springs. Inside the vehicle were 26 year old Rogello Vazquez of Winter Springs and 39 year old EfrainNegron of Orlando. When Deputy Farris searched the car,he found a plastic case under the front seat. The case contained four ounces of cocaine. The street value of the roraine is estimated at 54,000. Vazquez and Negron are being held without bond in the Seminole County Correctional Facility. In Florida,trafficking in amine is a first (7? / e degree felony. It carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison. �O •
