A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS,
FLORIDA, EXPRESSING SINCERE GRATITUDE AND
APPRECIATION TO "SENOR TEQUILA" FOR BEING SUCH
A FABULOUS COMMUNITY PARTNER.
IAYHEREAS, the City of Winter Springs' Police Department has been holding a "Shop with a Cop"
event during December of each year which involves approximately 30-35 children are provided with a special
breakfast, and then are taken on a $100.00 shopping spree for Christmas; and each child is paired with a Law
Enforcement Official, and often, members of our City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the "Shop with a Cop" event starts out with a hearty breakfast and since 2011, the
"SENOR TEQUILA" restaurant, has assisted the City of Winter Springs' Police Department with this event
by providing breakfast for all participants at NO cost to the City for this event; and
WHEREAS, "SENOR TEQUILA" graciously and generously prepare, cook, and serve a great
breakfast all made possible by the owners and their Staff; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, wish to express
their most heartfelt appreciation to "SENOR TEQUILA" for being such a caring community partner and
business in this City.
Now THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs,
Florida that:
SECTION L - That this Resolution of Appreciation for the outstanding kindness, generosity, and true
community service of"SENOR TEQUILA" be recorded upon the Public Records and Minutes of said City
Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida.
SECTION IL -That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to "SENOR TEQUILA"with our most
sincere appreciation and gratefulness for all they have done to make so many happy!
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA,IN A REGULAR MEETING ASSEMBLED
ON THE 26th DAY OF JANUARY, 2015.
