C. Deisler ; .5 ,� , s Code Enforcement Division POLICE ria�ios ►le • This case came before the Code Enforcement Board as a result of a case initiated by recently retired Code Officer Butch West. The date of that hearing was August 27, 2013 . The Code Board found sustained violations of the cited codes against the property. • At that time, a motion was carried unanimously giving the owners until September 16, 20'13 to correct the violations. In the event the respondent fails to comply by this date, a fine in the amount of$250. 00 for the first day- retroactive to August 27, 2013 and $250. 00 for each day the violation continues thereafter shall be imposed " ; .5 ,� , � Code Enforcement Division POLICE v HOWL • After becoming aware this case had never been presented for non-compliance, I went to the property to meet with the tenant to see if progress had been made. The new tenant met with me and allowed me to inspect the property. •It was quickly apparent to me the property was still in a state of disrepair and needed work. (Taken 6/24/14) *On June 30, 2014 at approximately 9:45AM, Mr. Sanchez came to the station to speak to me after getting my notice which was posted on his home at 100 Lisa Loop. He continued with a usual pattern of defiance, engaging in dialogue meant to incite argument, and general unwillingness to conduct any repairs. He continues to question our legal authority and the conversation ended quickly. • A Notice of Hearing was mailed Certified to the owners of record on June 26, 2014. It was attempted at the owner's home but refused twice: once on June 27, 2014 and again on July 8, 2014. The primary home of the owners was posted with notice on June 27, 2014. • Notice of Hearing was also posted at City Hall on bulletin boards and mailed via First Class mail. As he came to the police department to meet with me about this matter and mentioned the notice I left at his home, the owner, Mr. Angelo Sanchez, has received the notice of this hearing. At this time, it is doubtful any headway will be made. The following recommendation is being made at this time: 1 ) Entering a recorded lien on the property pursuant to the conditions of the Order as filed;
