Amendment#1 1 AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT to the original Agreement for Engineering Services (the Contract) is made by and between City of Winter Springs, Florida ("City") and AECOM Technical Services, Inc. ("Engineer"), and shall be effective as of April 14, 2014. WITNESSETH WHEREAS, City and Engineer executed a contract dated August 20, 2013 for Engineering Services related to the Intersection Improvements at SR 434 and Tuskawilla Road ("Project"); and, WHEREAS, Section 5.1, Engineer's Compensation, limits the lump sum amount payable under the contract to $149,095.00 including direct expenses; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the contract to provide additional services; AGREEMENT NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, City and Engineer agree that said contract is amended as follows: I. Engineer shall incorporate the FDOT milling and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings, and signal modifications at the intersection of SR 434 and Tuskawilla Road to the Project. This will include the milling and resurfacing on SR 434 from the edge of pavement of the existing median on the west side of SR 434 to approximately 175 feet west. The boundaries to the west will be as indicated on the 60% plans for Financial Project ID: 430675-1-52-0 provided by the City; and IL The lump sum amount payable is increased by $18,393.00 to a total of $167,488.00 including direct expenses to allow the Engineer to complete additional work. PROJECT PURPOSE The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has completed 60% plans for Financial Project ID: 430675-1-52-01. This project begins at approximately SR 419 and ends at approximately Tuskawilla Road. The FDOT will remove the last section of milling and resurfacing from their project scope and it will be included in the "City of Winter Springs SR 434 and Tuskawilla Road Improvements" project. SCOPE OF SERVICES Brindley Pieters & Associates' (BPA) scope of additional services consists of incorporating the FDOT milling and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings, and signal modifications at the intersection of SR 434 and Tuskawilla Road into the City of Winter Springs project. The project will include the milling and resurfacing on SR 434 from the edge of pavement of the existing median on the west side of SR 434 to approximately 175 feet west.The boundaries to the west will be as indicated on the 60% plans for Financial Project ID: 430675-1-52-0. Along Tuskawilla Road, the northern project boundary will be the existing concrete ribbon where the asphalt transitions to brick and the southern project boundary will be where the new median taper begins.
