REQUEST:
The Parks and Recreation Department requests the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Committee discuss and prioritize park improvements and funding sources at Trotwood
Park.
CONSIDERATIONS:
• Several improvements are being considered at Trotwood Park. Considerations and approximate
cost estimates are outlined in Attachment A.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks and Recreation Department recommends that the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Committee consider and prioritize potential Trotwood Park improvements outlined in this Agenda
Item.

TROTWOOD PARK PRIORITIES FOR P'RAC WORKSHOP'

• Basketball Court
Needs complete resurfacing ($30-35,000)
• Tennis Courts
Windscreens, for courts ($2,000-3,000)
Plants for exterior ($2,000)
• Shade Cover (50 x 50)
Needs repair ($600-$1,000)
To replace is ($16-18,000)
• Lighting
Sidewalk lights need to be upgraded (13) ($10,400-12,400)
Building & Parking Lot (6) ($4,800-6,800)
• Security Cameras,
Security cameras are to reduce vandalism & prosecute violators
These are all considerations for the FYI 5 budget process.
These are general estimates for materials & labor. Costs, may vary based
on material selection and site labor. Formal quote/bid will be done prior
to approval.
