�HEREAS, from the founding of the United States of America, millions of our citizens have tlefended our country,
and have given their all, serving here and in numerous countries around the globe — all efforts being made for a better
life, antl for liberty,justice, and freedom; and
�'iHF.RE��S, it is evident to Americans, the sacrifices and efforts that have been made by those who have served
our country as Veterans, and that some Veterans made the ultimate sacrifice — and this was all done for this great
country and its citizens and to keep freedom and peace in our hearts; and
�HEREAS, Mr. William Vaught as a member of the United Stated Navy, served his country beginning in 1947,
served in the Korean War, and continued his service until 1968; and that through his unselfish courageous, brave, and
honorable efforts, our country is part of a much better world; and
'1�l�HEREAS, on April 27, 2013, the Honor Flight Network is proud to take William Vaught and some of his fellow
service members on a journey to our nation's capitol, Washington D.C., so that these hero Veterans can first hand see
their Memorial which was built to honor William Vaught and his colleagues for their most honorable service to our
country and for all their efforts to help protect us and to keep us safe; antl
�HEREAS, as fellow Winter Springs citizens, it is such a pleasure to recognize William Vaught for all he has done
for this great country of ours, and to wish him well during his Honor Flight, which is so very dese►ved.
