Marry Wilson is the longest
tenured employee in Winter
Springs' history having been
with the City for 37 years and
3 months. She started with
the WSPD in 1974 as the
Administrative Assistant to
the Chief of Police. She held
the positions of Dispatcher/
Chief Secretary, Assistant City
Clerk, Building Department
Administrative Secretary, and finally as the Human Resources
Coordinator in 1986, through her retirement in June 2011. She
holds the title as the first African American Sworn Officer
and first female Sworn Officer. Mary was involved in the
American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and as a CYO
Referee for 10 years. We will all miss her caring ways.
