The City of ''inter Springs is setting the stage for not only the
fl 71a uly Ceie ration but a Celebration of 50 years! Everyone in the
US s to celebrate Independence Day; however, residents in'+�v'inter
Sprinill also have the opportunity to honor City which turns 50!
The ewt will take place at the beautiful Central
Winds- Park located just behind Winter Springs High
School, where gates will open at 5:00 PM. Shuttle
buses will run from 5 PM — 11:30 PM. The Shuttle
Bus Stops are: Trotwood Park, Keeth Elementary,
won Plaza amd Layer Elementary School. There

On our stage., things will kick off with
the Finals of 416;'Siaar Spangled Showcase ", as six
individuals cvmPetre 6r the honor and recognition
of becoming a "Vlfi`nter Springs . Singing Idol ".
Following the Showcase, a bard - r,prised of the
Winter Spring Police Departther t, also "wn as
17 -70 will pe rm Classic Rock wn Roll bits. Xitgnara
Matos will sing our National Anthem and additional
guest performerswill take the stage.
In celebrating the CiVs 50 years as o City, there
will be a Historical Tent, sponsored by the THOA,
featuring news articles, photographs, and pieces
of memorabilia that relate to the history of Winter
Springs. Both Pam Carroll and Jim Wilkins are
working diligently on making this exhibit a great
learning experience for everyone to enjoy. There
will also be a Fantastic Kids Area that offers bourn
houses, various inflatables, obstacle courses plus the
good "ole American Games" which will be produced
and coordinated by Chris Caldwell,
Athletics Supervisor. On a nearby field I,, i
within Central Winds Park, ReMax Town & Country
will be offering Hot Air Balloon Rides to the public.
As always, the event includes our food, service, and
merchandise vendors.
