Housing Update
The proposed Town Parke development would be locate(
in the Town Center Zoning District on SR 434 between th(
pedestrian bridge and the Mobil gas station.
The first meeting hosted by ARP at City Hall drew mor(
than 85 people who made their concerns known to th(
developer.
On August 17th, at the second (of three) meetings hostec
'by Atlantic Housing Partners (ARP) a revised proposal wa;
unveiled that would include only 108 units that would be
age restricted (55 +). ABP would only purchase 6.95 acre:
adjacent to the pedestrian bridge and trail (rather than their
original plan for 10.2 acres). See note at the end for origina,
proposed development.
.In the revised plan there would be 54 one - bedroom, 48 twc
bedroom and 6 three bedroom units in four story buildings
with elevators. Occupancy still restricted to two occupants
per bedroom.
Atlantic Housing now must submit revised documentation
to the City.
