Dear Mayor and Commissioners:
As part of our annual review process,Bright House Networks will adjust pricing beginning March 1, 2013.
Please keep in mind that a significant portion of our customers are in promotional packages and consequently
are not impacted by these price adjustments. Those customers who subscribe to the products affected, and are
not part of a promotional pricing plan or package, have been notified of any changes.
The new prices reflect a portion of higher programming costs, the development of innovative new features,
and continued investment in our infrastructure and network. We do our best to minimize cost increases
wherever possible, but when our costs increase a portion of that increase is reflected in the prices for our
services.
Bright House Networks is committed to increasing the value of the products and services we provide to our
consumers every day. This includes the addition of programming like beIN Sport and NFL Network. Over
the past year, we have also added new online TV content including more than 100 local, cable and premium
channels now available on the Bright House TV app at no additional cost to our customers.
In addition, Bright House Networks continues to work diligently to provide more value through technology,
including easy gadget, which features one-touch access to a customer's Remote DVR Manager, Whole
House DVR which comes with many new features including Start Over and Look Back. Customers have
access to Watch ESPN with Xbox gaming systems and Xbox Live Gold which features HD-quality live
programming and events from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and ESPN Goal Line/Buzzer Beater.
Bright House Networks also invests significant dollars in improving customer service; providing free, local
customer service 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and maintaining and supporting all of our own
equipment that resides in our customers' homes. Most importantly, Bright House Networks continues to
expand its civic involvement, charitable commitments and outreach to improve the quality of life in our
neighborhoods and schools.
