Regular Meeting City Manager Department
REQUEST:
The City Clerk is requesting that the City Commission review the information in this
Agenda Item related to a change in the official Regular Meeting day of the month for the
Code Enforcement Board.
SYNOPSIS:
The City Commission has a number of Advisory Boards and Committees and some meet on
a quarterly basis and some meet monthly. This Agenda Item is being presented to the City
Commission to provide information related to the Code Enforcement Board's recent change
to their Regular Meeting schedule.
CONSIDERATIONS:
The Code Enforcement Board has been meeting monthly, on the third Tuesday of each
month. At a recent meeting, the Code Enforcement Board agreed to change their Regular
Meeting date to the fourth Tuesday of each month, at 5:30 p.m.
This meeting date change will help staff out greatly — as up until now, on the third
Wednesday of each month, the following are due:
A: The Office of the City Clerk is responsible for typing up all of the Code Enforcement
Board Orders decided on at the Code Enforcement Board Regular Meeting held the night
before;
and
B: The Office of the City Clerk is responsible for constructing the City Commission
Agenda (for their Regular Meeting held on the fourth Monday of each month) which is
due to the Mayor and City Commission also on the third Wednesday.

Therefore, in summary, going forward, the Code Enforcement Board will now hold
Regular Meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month, at 5:30 p.m., and the completion
of their Board Orders should not normally conflict with the completion of City
Commission Agenda Packets.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No funding is requested as part of this Agenda Item.
