Flannigan ; .5 ,� , s Code Enforcement Division POLICE v 14 '14 Responding to a request from officers, I observed the living room has stuff piled all over it, including food and dried food in the bowls along with several glasses in the bedrooms with dried liquid in them. • I also observed that there are multiple cat liter boxes in several rooms which were not cleaned and over flowing. The smell of urine was overpowering when entering the house. • There were walls inside with holes in them. • The bathroom also had cat feces in the tub; there were no locks in the exterior door that led to the pool area. • The pool is stagnant, there is a baby gate around the pool which is falling apart. ; .5 ,� , s Code Enforcement Division POLICE v 110101 ► • The windows have window unit air conditioners that are surrounded with papers and books to fill the rest of the window area. There are no screens on the windows. In the garage there is a central air conditioning unit that has mold and mildew around it and what appears to be an electrical outlet concern. • The utility room has clothes piled in it; there are clothes piled around the dryer and no dryer vent is installed creating an electrical hazard. • The interior of the house has large outside trash cans inside that were not being used; used diapers are laying around the rooms. ; .5 ,� , s Code Enforcement Division POLICE 110101 • There were no observed fire alarms in the house. • The patio area for the pool had feces on it and electrical plugs laying around that were not weather resistant. • The soffits on the patio area are missing in large areas. There are gutters that have fallen; there is a large hole in the exterior of the structure. • The driveway has a large area that has been cracked and raised, possibly by a tree root, creating a tripping hazard. ; .5 ,� , s Code Enforcement Division POLICE v ria�ios ► Notice of Violation was mailed on September 20, 2012. LISPS website shows notice was left, and the notice was eventually returned unclaimed. • Notice of violation was posted at the property on October 3, 2012. • September 17, 2012, Mrs. Browning showed at the Code Board hearing and was advised at that time due to the notification process the case would not be heard. She was given my business card and advised to contact me to go over the violations one by one since she stated that she did not understand the violations. There was no further contact until October 18, 2012. ; .5 ,� , s Code Enforcement Division POLICE v r io ios ► • October 18, 2012, the respondent left a phone number to reach her at, which as of this date and several voice mails later there has not been a returned phone call from her. I have left several business cards at the residence with no results of contact. • Notice of Hearing was mailed on October 27, 2012 and notice was left on October 30, 2012, and it was returned unclaimed. ' LIES HOWL 4,11 w In regard to this case, I am recommending the owner be given until December 10, 2012 to correct the violations. If found in non-compliance, a fine of $250.00 a day be imposed retroactive to November 20, 2012.
