REBUILD, REPAIR AND MAINTAIN CURRENT WALL Submitted by Jon Lee Ad Hoc Advisory Committee Unit 12/12A September 5, 2012 • Committee requests Staff to obtain two proposals to rebuild the demolished sections, repair the wall where needed and then set up a yearly maintenance schedule as needed. The Committee will leave it up to Staff discretion to obtain the two proposals in a timely, efficient, cost effective manner. The Contractors will have to meet all City, County, State and Federal requirements for this project. The Staff will then submit the two proposals to the Committee with a recommended contractor and be ready to explain the choice of contractor. • Committee requests Staff to present to the Committee a detailed breakdown of the costs involved in setting up a Special Assessment District for the Unit 12/12A residents to fund this project. This includes specifying all parties involved as well as individual responsibilities and costs, fees and a total cost amortized over a 20 year period making an assumption, for illustrative purposes, of a three tier structure broken down 1.1 1.0 .9 (i.e. 20/35/35 homeowners). • Committee requests Staff to have the two requests ready for a final vote no later than October 19th or earlier if possible.
