REQUEST:
The Parks and Recreation Department wishes to inform the City Commission of the results
of a Senior Center Therapy Pool Survey #2.
SYNOPSIS:
The City Commission has requested regular updates regarding the results of our Senior
Center Therapy Pool Surveys. The purpose of this item is to provide an update on our most
recent Survey. The purpose of the Survey was to gather information from our therapy pool
membership to assess the needs of our citizens using our Therapy Pool regarding class
schedules, hours of operations, cleanliness, & activities and be open to any adjustments in
operations to better serve our guests.
CONSIDERATIONS:
In an effort to listen to and procure input from our members, staff performed a second
survey to assess the needs of our citizens using our Therapy Pool regarding class schedules,
hours of operations, cleanliness, & activities. This is a follow up survey to the original
survey done in March 2011.
Current Therapy Pool Membership is over 550 members.
237 members participated in the Customer Service Survey #2.
55% of the members who participated were Winter Springs Residents.
98% of our members feel we give good customer service.
95% would recommend our Senior Center and/or Therapy Pool to a friend.
93% were informed of class registrations, schedules, and weather updates at our pool.
59% were not in favor of some type of outdoor fitness equipment.
14% commented that we could improve on some aspect of the cleanliness of the
Senior Center and Therapy Pool.
