Evidence Exhibits WS -1 Code Enforcement Division Case Number: 12- 0027554 Address: 171 -177 Lori Anne Lane Owner of Record: Joseph Deas Violations: 13 -2 (Junk &Debris) 6 -195 (Fence in need of repair) Date of Service: April 6, 2012 Inspector —Jim Flannigan Code Enforcement Division • On February 7, 2012, I observed several code violations on this property. - Fence- observed slats missing and sections falling on left side of building. - Junk and debris- old dishwasher, wood posts, broken bike, tires and misc. debris in rear of building. • On February 7, 2012, Notice of Code Violation was mailed to the property owner Joseph Deas and he was given 10 days to correct the violation. Code Enforcement Division • On February 15, 2012, the Certified mail was received and signed for by Joseph Deas. • On April 3, 2012, Certified mail of Notice of Code Board hearing was mailed it was signed for on April 6, 2012 by Joseph Deas. • The property was also posted, along with posting at City Hall lobby concerning the Code Board Meeting for April 17, 2012. Code Enforcement Division • Sec. 6 -187. - Construction materials. • Fences and walls constructed within the city shall conform to one (1) of the following: • (1)Wood fences constructed of rot -and termite - resistive species of wood or chemically pressure- treated to resist rot and termite attack. • (2)Street posts and wire fabric fences with fabric of a minimum of eleven gauge galvanized or other non - corrodible metal. • (3)Ornamental iron. • (4)Ventilated concrete or masonry. • (5)Decorative PVC or aluminum, structurally sound to maintain spans and one hundred ten (110) mph wind load. Code Enforcement Division • Sec. 6 -195. - Maintenance of fences or walls. All fences and walls and accessories thereto shall be maintained in good order and in a condition equal to that which was originally approved by the building official at the time a building permit was issued. If for any reason the fence or wall was erected without a building permit, said wall or fence shall be maintained in accordance with the conditions and requirements necessary for obtaining a fence or wall permit from the building official under this Article. Within thirty (30) days receipt of written notice by the City that a wall or fence does not comply with the requirements of this section, a property shall bring such fence or wall in compliance with this section within thirty (30) days of receipt of such notice.
