Richart Office: 407-327-5976 Email: srichart winters rin sfl.or A. Budget 1. TLBD Maintenance Fund — 184 (sent via separate email 04 116112) B. Maintenance Report Eastwood Tuff Turf is performing to standard on the landscaping and irrigation maintenance. The dry weather is necessitating frequent inspections of the irrigation heads throughout the project. There have been several mainline breaks recently in the areas of Greenbriar Lane to Sam Smith Park. 2. Power Exterminators is performing to standard on the chemical services program with the most recent treatment of minor elements and nitrogen to all turf areas. Chinch bug activity will be a concern soon and preventative treatments are scheduled. 3. Lightscapes is performing to standard on the low voltage lighting maintenance. Several transformer replacements have been necessary due to age and vandalism recently, related to the low voltage lights. WS Blvd and Seneca Blvd, at the smaller monument, was the most recent replacement. 4. Fountain Doctors is performing to standard on the fountain maintenance program. Bids were recently requested from a total of four (4) vendors and Fountain Doctors was the only company to respond. The maintenance contract at a cost of $650 per month will be awarded prior to May 1, 2012. A $50 per month savings is noted in the most recent proposal. 5. Various medians and entranceways are in the process of being upgraded with plant materials that will be more colorful, yet sustainable, to further beautify the subdivision while minimizing costs of maintenance and upkeep. Perennial color (Bush daisy) was recently installed at many of the entrances to Tuscawilla to provide festive' color. Society garlic is also being installed on several medians to provide the same effect. 6. A solar sync irrigation weather station has been donated by Hunter Industries for the WS Blvd Medians to monitor and automatically control the irrigation systems based on seasonal /climatic conditions. 7. Additional hollies that have been infected with witches broom disease are in the process of being removed at Winter Springs Blvd. near the Georgetowne Subdivision. 8. Staff is monitoring all intersections along Winter Springs Blvd. for sight /distance issues caused by plant materials. Action will be taken as necessary to address such concerns. 9. So far, construction related to Tuscawilla Greens has not negatively impacted the median landscaping along Winter Springs Blvd. Stay tuned... Respectfully, Steven T.
