�HEREAS, Floyd Bennett, Elle Fernandez, Christine Fikry, Rachacl Gregory, James Hedrick, Brian McDonnell, Tyler
Marino, and Ryan Roozrokh are students at Winter Springs High School; and
Floyd Bennett, Elle Fernandez, Christine Fikry, Rachael Gregory, James Hedrick, Brian McDonnell,
Tyler Marino, and Ryan Roozrokh as Student Producers under the excellent leadership of Faculty Sponsor
Ms. Dawn Wilkerson, submitted a Video entry in the Character Key Video Contest 2009; and
W HEREAS, Floyd Bennett, Elle Fernandez, Christine Fikry, Rachacl Gregory, Jaynes Hedrick, Brian McDonnell,
Tyler Marino, and Ryan Roozrokh along with Ms. Dawn Wilkerson, Video Production Teacher won the 1st
Place honor with their Video presentation on "Generosity"; and
To submit the winning entry, and win this incredible honor, these students came up with the concept; wrote
the script; filmed the production, envisioned the costumes and props and made them a reality; in addition to
obtaining permission for certain areas to be used in the film; then edited the production; added effects, sound
and everything else that was needed to bring this concept to lift; and —
HEREAS, Floyd Bennett, Elle Fernandez, Christine Fikry, Rachael Gregory, James Hedrick, Brian McDonnell,
Tyler Marino, and Ryan Roozrokh as Student Producers completed this winning project as an additional
project - while these students worked on many other assignments; studied for tests; plus handed all of the
other many things that go with being a high school student; and
Two of these winning students participated in the same Character Key Contest m 2008, and their entry came
in a very honorable 3rd Place - but Floyd Bennett, Elle Fernandez, Christine Fikry, Rachael Gregory, James
Hedrick, Brian McDonnell, Tyler Marino, and Ryan Roozrokh together all vowed that this year they
,•' would WIN this Contest for their efforts, and for Winter Springs High School - and win they DID!
NOW, THEREFORE, 1, JOHN F. BUSH, Mayor of the City of Waiter Springs, do hereby Proclaim the clay of May 18,
2009, in honor of the impressive accomplishments of
