WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA
)111) WHEREAS, Ed and Nancy Riordan have been residents of the City of Winter
9 -1 1 _ 2 O0 1 Springs, Florida for seven years; and
j WHEREAS, Ed and Nancy Riordan organized and planned for a tenth year
Anniversary Memorial Service recognized as our "9 -11 Memorial" Ceremony, in honor of the devastating
events that were perpetrated upon our Country on September 1 t h , 2001; and
W HEREAS, Ed and Nancy Riordan were both personally impacted with family being a Second
Responder, the loss of over a dozen friends, including the only volunteer Fireman - all who lost their lives on
this fateful day, forever to be known as "9-11"; and
W HEREAS, through the sincere efforts of Ed and Nancy Riordan, in planning and organizing an event in
the City of Winter Springs, Florida to commemorate that tragic day in the history of the United States of
America; and in such a truly meaningful way, Ed and Nancy Riordan directly and deeply contributed to our
community with an incredibly moving "9 -11 Memorial" Ceremony, which in turn touched the rest of our
hearts, as we all remember this most solemn and sad occasion.

Proclaim that the efforts and contributions of Ed and Nancy Riordan have
greatly touched the lives of our citizens in such a manner that we extend our
sincerest thanks for all they have done; and from our hearts, we all agree that
we will always - remember...
