The following individuals were in attendance or absent, as noted: Mayor Charles Lacey*, present Deputy* Mayor Jean Hovey* present Commissioner Rick Brown, present Commissioner Gaiv Bonner, present Commissioner Cade Resnick, present Commissioner Joanne M. Krebs, absent City* Manager Kevin L. Smith, present City* Attorney* Anthony* A. Garganese, present IL ATTORNEY - CLIENT SESSION (Closed to Public) Pursuant To Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, The City Attorney* Will Be Seeking The Advice Of The City Commission Regarding Settlement Negotiations And Strategy* Related To The Pending Litigation Titled City of Winter Springs v. Lexon Insurance Company*, Case Number 08- CA- 5438 -15 -L, In and Before the Circuit Court of Seminole County*, Florida. The Persons Scheduled To Be In Attendance Are Mayor Charles Lacey*, Deputy* Mayor Jean Hovey*, Commissioner Rick Brown, Commissioner Gaiv Bonner, Commissioner Cade Resnick, Commissioner Joanne M. Krebs, City Manager Kevin L. Smith, City Attorney* Anthony* A. Garganese, And A Court Reporter. City* Attorney* Anthony* A. Garganese briefly* spoke on this Attorney-Client Session. Mayor Lacey* stated, "The persons scheduled to be in attendance are Mayor Charles Lacey*, Deputy* Mayor Jean Hovey*, Commissioner Rick Brown, Commissioner Gaiv Bonner, Commissioner Cade Resnick, City Manager Kevin Smith, City Attorney* Anthony* A. Garganese, and a Court Reporter, Sandy* Dawkins." This portion of the Attorney*- Client Session was then closed. Those attending this Attorney- Client,Session left the Commission Chambers at 4: p.m. At 5:25 p.m., Mayor Lacey, Members of the City Commission, Manager ,Smith, and Attorney Garganese returned to the Commission Chambers.
