A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING MICHAEL W. MINGEA FOR HIS 12
YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY OF
WINTER SPRINGS; AND EXPRESSING OUR APPRECIATION ON BEHALF
OF THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
YY HEREAS, MICHAEL W. MINGEA has provided the residents of Winter Springs with 12 years of
dedicated and distinguished service in the Winter Springs Community Development Department; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL W. MINGEA joined the City of Winter Springs in April of 1999 as the
Environmental Inspector for the Community Development Department; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL W. MINGEA was certified as a Code Enforcement Officer in June of 1999 and
later promoted to City Arborist based upon his arboricultural skills and in-depth knowledge of the urban forest; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL W. MINGEA has shown great commitment and pride during his last 10 years as
the City Arborist and has continued in that capacity until his upcoming retirement on June 29, 2011.
NOW THEREFORE� �E ' IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs,
Florida as follows:
SECTION I— That the Mayor and Commission, City Manager, and Staff of the City of Winter Springs upon
the occasion of MICHAEL W. MINGEA'S retirement takes great pleasure to recognize and honor him for his
uncommon level of distinguished service to the residents of Winter Springs through his employrnent in the Winter
Springs Community Development Department.
SECTION II — That this Resolution commending the services of MICHAEL W. MINGEA be recorded
upon the official Public Records and Minutes of this City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, F'lorida.
SECTION III — That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to MICHAEL W. MINGEA with our sincerest
thanks for his many contributions.
