Hunt Club Blvd. Apopka, FL 32703 Dear Scottie, Children of the Nations (COTN) is a nonprofit organization that cares for orphaned and destitute children in Africa and the Caribbean. We do so by partnering with nationals in these desperate areas to provide care for children, enabling them to create positive and lasting change in their nations. At COTN's local office here in Central Florida, our goal is to mobilize people from our community who will join us in our vision of raising children who transform nations. Central Floridians can have a huge impact on a child's life through simple actions done right here. Specific opportunities include participating in a meal packaging event, sponsoring a child, donating supplies, or even traveling overseas to serve. An upcoming opportunity to get involved is COTN's 3 Annual Run for Africa 5K at Winter Springs Town Center on Saturday, July 3o, 2o11. We're excited to say 100% of the proceeds will go to COTN's Orlando office, enabling us to continue educating and engaging our community. The Run for Africa 5K has increased in participation each year, starting with over 300 runners in 2009. We're expecting more than 500 runners this year! We ask you to consider partnering with COTN in this event. Attached you will find various levels of support that Topper's Creamery can provide. Based on your level of support, COTN is excited to extend to you opportunities for your company to be acknowledged via the Internet, print, and /or the 2011 Run for Africa 5K runner's shirt.
