TACTIC 2 Business Visitation Program Program ensures we visit each of our primary sector companies at least once every 12- months to express appreciation for business investment on behalf of the EDC and government partners. Program is a way to develop and maintain relationships and communication lines with these businesses. A survey process is utilized to identify barriers to continued investment and employment growth as well as identify opportunities to upgrade and expand business functions. Survey responses will build company intelligence with emphasis on local operations. The data gathered will guide policy development and strategic initiatives as well as provide the creation of high levels of sector intelligence that will be used to support business recruitment and start- up activities. TACTIC 3 Corporate Headquarter Relationships Applies to local companies with headquarters outside of the region. We will build relationships with headquarters officials to express gratitude for contributions to the region's economy and to express our desire to enhance our business climate for purposes retaining and growing the company's presence.
