WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, Allison Tate- Cortese, Dhruv Patel, and Brittany Skeels are students at Oviedo High School; and
IHERF.AS, Under the excellent leadership of Video Production Instructor, Mr. Kyle Suavely, these students submitted a Video entry in
the 2010 Leadership Seminole Character Key Video Contest; and
WHEREAS, Allison Tate- Cortese, Dhruv Mel, and Brittany Skeels along with Mr. Kyle Snavely, Video Production Instructor were
awarded the 1`Place honor with their Video presentation - "The Real Me "; and
WHEREAS, In addition, this Video also was awarded 2"° Place Florida Scholastic Press Association (State Competition); E Place
Seminole Arts in Media Education (which qualifies them for the State competition in November); and this Public Service
Announcement (PSA) will be aired on every Bright HouseTM television channel (this Central Florida cable provider is the
3" largest in the country) which equates to more than 970,000 viewers; and
WHEREAS, These students completed this winning project while also working on other assignments; while also studying for exams;
plus all of the many other things that go with being a high school student.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, RICK BROWN, Deputy Mayor of the City of Winter Springs, do hereby Proclaim the day of May 17, 2010,
in honor of the impressive accomplishments of:
