I have a geniune interest in the future grownth of the city and beliecve that I can bring my background not only in construction , but also a life ling resident of Seminole County between Casselberry and Winter Springs Briefly state any specialized knowledge or prior experience you have that would be useful in assisting the board or committee in accomplishing its purpose. Currently I am the Chairman of the Sminole County Port Authority, which is a special district within the county. We manage a large industrial area on the northern most boarder of the county along the St Johns river. I have served on the county Parks Adviosry board as well as President of the PARCS foundation for Seminole County. I have been involved with local government on a voluntary basis for well over a decades. I bring a non-bias approach to the board and citizens. I have seen the city and the county grow for nearly 5 decades. I would like to see smart growth, not greedy growth. I have also served on the executive committe and past president of the Florida Roofing and Sheetmetal Association. This position represents over 1000 roofing contractors state wide. We work with the state to govern codes and policy to help make the construction industry a better, more proficient insdusty.
