Why are you interested in serving on a board or committee?
I have served the public in many capacities over the years, and would like to be of service at
this time to my city.
Briefly state any specialized knowledge or prior experience you have that
would be useful in assisting the board or committee in accomplishing its
purpose.
I am familiar with charter reviews and their processes. I understand the role of a
committeeperson as opposed to being counsel for the committee, and would respect those
boundaries. I have dealt with several levels of government throughout the course of my
career.
Briefly state any experience you have in serving on any governmental board
or committee.
I chaired the ad-hoc Census 2020 committee for the county; I have served on 3 Florida Bar
Grievance Committees; I served as general counsel to the Seminole County Supervisor of
Elections previously. Although not on boards or committees I have interacted with most of
the cities and many of the county committees and board through my professional practice.
