What is Guruvandana?
•A program dedicated to recognizing and honoring teachers and
educators
•Rooted in the universal value of gratitude toward mentors and
guides
•Encourages students and families to appreciate educators’
contributions
•Promotes cultural understanding, respect, and community
connection
Program Highlights
•Teacher recognition ceremony (30 teachers, 2 principals, 3 board
members, 1 Asst Superintendent)
•Hosted appreciation lunch for 60+ teachers in Winter Springs High
School
•Student participation and cultural presentations
•Celebration of education and leadership
▪Organized food donation drives for local community
▪Supported:
▪Indian Trails Middle School
▪Winter Springs High School
▪Helped students and families in need during the holiday season
Community Impact Through Service
▪Celebrating and honoring police officers &
firefighters for over 10 years
▪Families expressed appreciation for public service
