TITLE
Matters Related to Boards and Committees
SUMMARY
The City Clerk Department wishes to inform the City Commission of the following
vacancies:
CURRENT VACANCIES:
Ad-Hoc Charter Review Committee - Members can serve on an existing board or
committee but must live within their corresponding district.
Board of Trustees
Seat Two: Term Expires January 1, 2028 (open to the full Commission)*
Code Enforcement Board
Seat Three: Term Expires July 31, 2027 (open to the full Commission)*
*Per Section 2-41(e) of the City Code, "If any commissioner fails to appoint a member
within thirty (30) days after a vacancy occurs or a term expires, that seat shall be filled
by a majority vote of the commission."
FUNDING SOURCE
RECOMMENDATION
Staff requests the City Commission consider making appointments to the Ad-Hoc
Charter Review Committee and filling existing vacancies on the Board of Trustees and
Code Enforcement Board.
