Matters Related to Boards and Committees
SUMMARY
The City Clerk Department wishes to inform the City Commission of the following
vacancies:
CURRENT VACANCIES:
Board of Trustees - Terms for three (3) members expired January 1, 2026
Seat One: Term Expires January 1, 2030 (open to the full Commission)*
Seat Two: Term Expires January 1, 2028 (open to the full Commission)*
Code Enforcement Board
Seat Three: Term Expires July 31, 2027 (open to the full Commission)*
Veteran and Veteran Families Advisory Committee
Seat Three: Term Expires February 1, 2029
*Per Section 2-41(e) of the City Code, "If any commissioner fails to appoint a member
within thirty (30) days after a vacancy occurs or a term expires, that seat shall be filled
by a majority vote of the commission."
FUNDING SOURCE
RECOMMENDATION
Staff requests the City Commission consider filling existing vacancies on the Board of
Trustees, Code Enforcement Board, and Veterans and Veteran Families Advisory
Committee.
