REQUEST: Public Works Department Updating the City Commission on the Status of
the Tuscawilla Lighting and Beautification District Project
PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is to update the City Commission on the progress
of the Tuscawilla Lighting and Beautification District.
CONSIDERA TIONS:
Attached is the monthly progress report from SRI relative to the December
monthly progress reports for the Tuscawilla Lighting and Beautification District. Since
the execution of the final change order and agreed upon pending work list, work under the
control of the contractor has been completed. The missing signage and railings have been
ordered and we believe we have resolved the issues with Florida Power to get the meters
set. The south fountain pump was pulled again under warranty for a problem with the
bearings which trips the breaker. The 10% retainage is still being withheld until all items
are complete. This is expected to occur by the end of the month.
