CONSIDERATION: The following intersections were identified in the study as meeting criteria for right hand turn lanes and ranked in the priority as shown: 1. Vistawilla Drive 2. Hayes Road - Eastbound 3. Winding Hollow Boulevard 4. Tuscora Drive 5. Moss Road - Eastbound Of the five identified as needing deceleration lanes, Moss Road -Eastbound is under construction as part of the SR 434 Access Management Project (Village Walk) and is scheduled for completion by the end of October 2005. The process of taking the needed RoW through Eminent Domain is underway for the deceleration/turn lane at SR 434 and Hayes Road Eastbound with an estimated completion of acquiring the RoW sometime mid-year 2006. The design is complete for this project and can be budgeted for construction in fiscal year 06-07. Negotiations currently underway for the proposed construction of the Colonial Bank at the intersection of Vistawilla Drive have had the construction of the deceleration lane as considered as a part of the construction of the Colonial Bank. This would require additional land from the Metro Church. These discussions have been very preliminary. This project if funded can have the design completed in fiscal year 06-07 and constructed in fiscal year 07-08 if not included as part of the Colonial Bank construction. October 10,2005 Information Item 306 Page 2 Presently there is no identified funding source for the Winding Hollow Boulevard or Tuscora Drive. Other intersections for which traffic counts were obtained but did not warrant deceleration lanes at the time of the study were: · Fountaintree Drive - Westbound. · Shoeah Boulevard - Westbound. · Edgemon Avenue - Eastbound and Westbound. · Moss Road -Westbound. · Costa Rica Drive - Eastbound. · Hacienda Drive - Eastbound. · Stone Gable Circle. · Apache Trail (Tuskawilla Trails). · Creeks Run Way. · Courtney Springs Apartments. · Spring Avenue.
