Dear Andrea:
Thank you for notifying me that my term is up on the Code Enforcement Board. I have
enjoyed every minute of the time I have spent on this most important board. I have learned
a great deal from the cases that have come before us. It is a challenging experience.
I have been on the board many years and I think it would be to the city's advantage to
appoint someone to take my place on the board. This board needs new ideas and younger
people to give of themselves and to learn about the codes of the city and enforce them.
If by chance there is no one (but r think there is someone) r would be willing to continue.
I feel I have given my ideas and expertise to this board and it is time for a change.
I am not political minded but I have enjoyed working with the Mayor and all the
Commissioners including the Police Dept., Fire Dept., and Public Works plus the Staff and
especially Code Manager, Jimmette. You are all great people and I am proud to know each
and everyone of you.
If there is anything I can do for anyone at City Hall please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
.t~ e. .t.~

Dear Ms. Lorenzo-Luaces:
I have received your letter regarding Reappointment to the Oak Forest Wall and
Beautification District Advisory Committee. The purpose of this letter is to inform you that
I do not wish to be reappointed to the Committee.
I have enjoyed my service to the Committee, City Commission and the residents of Oak
Forest during my term. I feel that the Committee has achieved its objectives in a timely,
professional manner, largely thanks to the dedicated volunteers serving with me. In addition,
we are very appreciative of the efforts of Messrs. Lockuff and Hill as we moved through
the construction process. The end result has been a feature in which the residents of Oak
Forest and the City of Winter Springs can take justifiable pride.
Please convey my appreciation to the Commission and Staff for the opportunity to
serve the City.

Dear Ms. Lorenzo-Luaces:
This letter is in response to your communication of April 18, 2002. It has been a pleasure
to work with the above referenced board. However, I do not wish to be reappointed.
Please thank David McLeod and the City of Winter Springs for the opportunity to be of
service to the City and my community.
Sincerely,
