Dear Andrea:
Thank you for notifying me that my term is up on the Code Enforcement Board. I have
enjoyed every minute of the time I have spent on this most important board. I have learned
a great deal from the cases that have come before us. It is a challenging experience.
I have been on the board many years and I think it would be to the city's advantage to
appoint someone to take my place on the board. This board needs new ideas and younger
people to give of themselves and to learn about the codes of the city and enforce them.
If by chance there is no one (but I think there is someone) I would be willing to continue.
I feel I have given my ideas and expertise to this board and it is time for a change.
I am not political minded but I have enjoyed working with the Mayor and all the
Commissioners including the Police Dept., Fire Dept., and Public Works plus the Staff and
especialJy Code Manager, Jimmette. You are all great people and I am proud to know each
and everyone of you.
If there is anything I can do for anyone at City Hall please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
