REQUEST:
The City Manager requests that the City Commission make an Appointment to the
Metroplan Orlando Citizens' Advisory Committee, to replace Mr. Robert 1.
Lochrane, P .E. who has recently resigned.
PURPOSE:
With the resignation of Mr. Robert 1. Lochrane, P.E. who has been the City's
Representative on the Metroplan Orlando Citizens' Advisory Committee, it is
now necessary to make an appointment to fill this vacancy.
CONSIDERATIONS:
A letter of resignation dated June 21,2002 has been received from Mr. Robert J.
Lochrane, P.E. Mr. Lochrane has been representing the City of Winter Springs on
the Metroplan Orlando Citizens' Advisory Committee. The individual to take
over for Mr. Lochrane will serve a term of office which expires in June of2006.

. Currently are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month

FUNDING:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission make an appointment to the
Metroplan Orlando Citizens' Advisory Committee.

During the past several. years I had the privilege of serving the City of Winter Springs as its
representative on the Metro Plan Orlando Citizens Advisory Committee. My second term will
be expiring this month and due' to business commitments, I will not be able to continue in this
advisory position.

City's search for a replacement, please let me know.

in roadway improvements in Lake County, a 3.5 mile section of Old
Lake Wilson Road in Osceola County., the widening of Rangeline
Road in Longwood, the Master Plan and Preliminary Design for the
20-mile Pinellas Trail Florida Power Extension Project and the PD&E
Study for the Florida Turnpike/CR 470 Interchange in Lake County.

in Peabody, MA, Improvements to Interchanges 15, 14, 13, 11 and
10 on the Massachusetts Turnpike, the City-Wide Construction
Inspection Contract for the City of Boston and the Nine-Mile
Norwatuck Bike Path in Amherst, MA.
o Expanded engineering sales from $4 million to $10 million
