WINTER SPRINGS
SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER
Honorable John Bush
Mayor; City of Winter Springs
4134 S.R. 434
Winter Springs, Fl. 32708
April 24, 2005
Dear Mayor Bush,
This letter Is to Inform you that after over 12 years of being actively Involved
doing community service at the Winter Springs Senior Center, and for the last
several years as president of the Winter Springs Senior Association, I have
decided to hang up my spikes. Therefore, and In good conscience, I will not be
able to commit myself for another 2 years. The time has come In my life where I
need to be free from the ever Increasing demands it takes to provide the best
representation for the membership at this center. I have advised my board of
directors of my decision, and applauded them for their dedication, hard work,
vision, and also providing financial revenue, in making our senior center one of
the crown jeweis of what this city has to offer It's senior population. I hope that
whoever takes over the responsibility as president will always remember that
this center was built by the City, for the exclusive use bye seniors, for seniors. I
leave with the feeling that more Involvement on the City's part as expressed by
you, Ron, and other commissioners, that In the future, this center will expand in
size, and with new daytime, activities for ali seniors. Thank you ali for your
support over the years.
