Authorization REQUEST: The City Clerk is requesting the City Commission review the available dates for a Board Appreciation Dinner which as in previous year's will honor the individuals who serve our community as members of the City's Advisory Boards and Committees. PURPOSE: This Agenda Item's purpose is to request that the City Commission review the attached available dates and decide on their preference for the 2001 Board Appreciation Dinner. CONSIDERATIONS: At the February 26, 2001 City Commission Regular Meeting, Commissioner Cindy Gennell asked that suggested dates for a Board Appreciation Dinner be brought to the Commissioner for their consideration. The locations in the City of Winter Springs that could best handle such an event - the Tuscawilla Country Club, and the Winter Springs Golf Club, were contacted for availability over the next few months and Attachment "A" lists the dates that are currently available for both these locations. The date agreed upon was Monday, April 2nd, beginning at 7:30 a.m., (until 9:00 A.M.) and it could be held at the Civic Center. Mayor Partyka stated that "Andrea and I would handle the details on that." Mayor Partyka suggested a type of Continental Breakfast, and said that "We will make it nice and classy." Commissioner Gennell suggested that we consider the next Board Appreciation Dinner, and added, "Let Andrea bring us back dates." "MOTION TO ADJOURN." MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MARTINEZ. SECONDED.
