REQUEST: City Manager advising the City Commission of the upcoming review for the
City Manager.
PURPOSE: This agenda item is needed to fulfill the Commission's request for advance notice
of annual reviews.
On April 23, 2001 Regular Meeting of the City Commission the Commission requested that
matters involving annual reviews be provided to the Commission one month before their
effective date.
The date for the City Manager's salary discussion is November 1,2001
Due to the recent unscheduled surgery of the City Manager and the timing of this years ICMA
Conference the Manager has not had time to complete the required salary survey information.
However" the Manager will provide the Commission salary survey data and a report of
accomplishments on the October 22,2001 agenda.

VII. REPORTS
REPORTS
A. City Attorney - Anthony A. Garganese, Esquire
Attorney Garganese noted that an "Attorney-Client Session" (followed by a Special
Meeting) needs to be held, in a case related to a former fire department employee. This
was agreed to by the Commission, and will be held on Monday, July 31, 2000 at 5:00
p.m.
Attorney Garganese also mentioned a recent seminar for municipal attorneys that he
attended regarding rights-of-way.
Mayor Partyka asked about the status of the "Richard Todd" issue. Brief discussion.
REPORTS
B. City Manager - Ronald W. McLemore
Manager McLemore spoke of his concern with a proposal regarding a conservation
easement, made to the school board. Discussion.
Mayor Partyka clarified that the consensus of the Commission was that, this Workshop
with the Seminole County School Board should be held.
Manager McLemore then spoke of information regarding a "Salary Adjustment."
Discussion.
"I'D LIKE TO MOVE THAT WE APPROVE THE CITY MANAGER'S
REQUEST FOR A TWO YEAR - AGREEMENT WITH AN AVERAGE
INCREASE OF THE TIME PERIOD OF SIX (6%), AS HE OUTLINED IN HIS
REQUEST." MOTION BY DEPUTY MAYOR GENNELL. SECONDED BY
COMMISSIONER MILLER. DISCUSSION.
