ATTACHMENT A
Dear Winter Springs Business Owner:
I am very pleased to advise you that the City of Winter Springs, in conjunction with the City Map
Project, is announcing the printing of 10,000 copies of a new, detailed, updated street map of the
City and the immediate surrounding area. The City is supporting the City Map Project to promote
our area with no tax burden to our tax paying citizens. The Winter Springs Area will be
highlighted and enlarged to distinguish us from our neighboring cities. All changes and additions
in the area will be reflected on the new map.
Business advertising on maps has proven very popular throughout the country. An accurate,
user-friendly map benefits businesses, residents, and tourists while greatly assisting newcomers
to our City. Business cards will be arranged on the maps to highlight local businesses. In
addition to promoting businesses and regional amenities, current programs being pursued by the
City of Winter Springs will be displayed along with a directory of important phone numbers and
other community information.
In addition to the 10,000 plus print copies, an easy to navigate, searchable on-line map version
will be available from the City's Web Site. At no additional cost to City businesses, citizens will be
able to search by name or category of a participating business and pinpoint the business on the
on-line map. Citizens can also click on a link that will take them to the Business' web site, if
available. Businesses will be multiplying their exposure potential many times.
For a sample of this extraordinary, easy to utilize site, visit htto://bowlinggreen.maplocator.com/.
The maps will be available, free of charge, at City buildings and other high-traffic areas such as
local banks, restaurants and real estate firms. The maps will also be distributed to local schools,
churches, and other public service organizations. Each participating advertiser will receive a
complimentary supply of 50 folded maps with a counter top display dispenser.
You may contact City Map Project directly by calling 1-800-933-3909 referring to the "WINTER
SPRINGS City Map Project". Visit the City Map Project website at www.citvmapproject.com for
more information and typical ad samples.
Marketing and advertising space is limited. It is not uncommon for a community of our
size to sell out the sponsorship opportunities within three business days. Therefore, it is
important for you to act if you desire to highlight your business on the map. You can do
this by filling out the form below and faxing this letter to 800-344-1941. Remember, the
limited space is allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Thank you in advance for your support of this worthwhile project.
Sincerely,

The staff at City Map Project was always very cordial. professional, knowledgeable, and
dedicated to the task at hand. Throughout the project, the staffwas always responsive
and understanding to our needs. Their hard work and commitment was made evident by
the completed product.
Every day people walk through our doors requesting a map ofLongwood or are asking
for directions; and now we are able to provide them with 8. detailed street map at no cost.
This has been a great resource and tool for both OUf staff and the public.
I look forward to partnering with City Map Project in the near future. and appreciate all
