Acrylic sheds water and dries quickly making it rot- and mildew-resistant. It is atightly-woven, tough fabric. Color fastness of the fabric is an important quality. Exposure to sun and rain will eventually fade any fabric. The acrylic fabric used by Display Sales is yarn dyed before weaving, thereby ensuring the deepest color possible. This fabric is exceptional in holding color for years. A variety of inks are available to use on fabric. Our twenty years of experience has proven to us that a plastisol ilik which penetrates the fabric as it is heat dried gives the best, longest lasting coverage. Display Sales has field tested and established the construction features that are the industry standards today: vinyl lined rod pockets for extra strength in this most prone to wear area, bound edges for a finished look and added stability, double row of lock stitching on rod pockets for secure hems, brass grommets in the hem stitching to prevent them from pulling out of the fabric. The grommets are used to secure the banner to the bracket with tywraps or coated wire. No more lost banners. *~` More than any other feature, the life of a banner is determined by the installation _ and care of the banner. Banners must be installed to be very taut. If they are not taut, the ~~ slightest breeze causes the banner to vibrate and starts a deterioration of the fabric and ink. They should be secured to the hardware or pole but not pulled tight against the hardware. The pole should be free of signage that cm catch on your banners.
