HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000 07 10 Regular D Replats of Lots 13 and 14 of Parkstone Unit 1 COMMISSION AGENDA ITEM D Consent Information Public Hearioe Reeular XX July 10.2000 Meeting MGR. ~~ REQUEST: Community Development Department, Land Development Division, presents to the Commission for their action the request of CENTEX for approval to record the Replat of Lots 13 and 14 of Parks tone Unit 1. PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is to present to the Commission the request of CENTEX for approval to record the Replat of Lots 13 and 14 of Parks tone Unit 1. Parkstone Unit 1 is located to the immediate north of the entry to Winding Hollow subdivision. FINDINGS: 1) Parkstone Unit 1 was approved by the Commission for recordation on August 11, 1999. 2) The improvements for Parkstone Unit 1 were accepted on February 28,2000. Parkstone Unit 1 is a gated community and the streets belong to the Home Owners' Association. 3) There was a caveat in the acceptance of the project that Lots 13, 14,20,21, and 22 would necessitate a replatting because of a shift in the right of way in that vicinity. The reason for this was to avoid a conflict with an artesian well located within the originally approved roadway path. 4) The caveat was accomplished and the changes from the original plat are: a) The original lot 13 and the remnants oflot 14 have been combined into one (1) lot. b) The original right of way has been expanded to include part of the original lot 14. c) It was not necessary to change other lot lines.
