The Office of the City Clerk respectfully requests that the Code Enforcement
Board review this Agenda Item and offer guidance on which, if any, classes they
would like to attend that are offered by Florida Association of Code Enforcement
(F.A.C.E.)
PURPOSE:
This Agenda Item is being provided as requested by Chairman Mathew Matisak
and requests the Code Enforcement Board review the enclosed information and
then inform the Office of the City Clerk which classes, if any, they would like to
attend.
CONSIDERATIONS:
At the August 27th, 2008 Regular Meeting of the Code Enforcement Board,
Deputy City Clerk Danielle Harker brought up a discussion becoming a Member
of Florida Association of Code Enforcement (F.A.C.E.) The following is an
excerpt from that Meeting:

Lastly, Deputy City Harker mentioned to the Code Enforcement Board that she
had become a Member of the Florida Association of Code Enforcement (FACE);
noted that she had received a flyer entitled `Florida Association of Code
Enforcement Examination Registration Form'; and that she would be keeping the
Board apprised on any information that she received.

RECOMMENDATION:
The Code Enforcement Board is requested to review the information in this
Agenda Item and advise Staff on what classes, if any, they would like to attend
that are offered through Florida Association of Code Enforcement (F.A.C.E.)
