Authorization REQUEST: Staff requests that the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee review the Considerations in this Agenda Item and come to a consensus on each of the noted points, in relation to the upcoming Lorie Taylor Memorial Dedication Ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, June 18,2005. PURPOSE: This Agenda Item is needed to decide on details related to the upcoming Lorie Taylor Memorial Dedication Ceremony. CONSIDERATIONS: The following questions have been posed by former Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee Member Dick Taylor: CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS OAK FOREST WALL AND BEAUTIFICATION DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING - JUNE 9, 2005 REGULAR AGENDA ITEM 500 PAGE20F2 1. Has the City Commission been invited? Who/how will the invite the City Commission. (Could former City Commissioner David W. McLeod be invited as he was the City Commissioner who appointed Lorie Taylor to the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee.) 2. Have City Officials been invited? Who/how will these individuals be invited? 3. Are any of the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee Members attending? If so could the Chairman speak? 4. Should the general public be invited, and/or just the Oak Forest Community? 5. Ifwe have a fair number of people attending, where will they stand? 6. What should be included in the Program? (Mr. Taylor has offered to put this together, but needs to know the answers to the previous questions.) 7. Will there be some kind of protection from thru traffic? 8. Has the "Bench" been installed; and/or will it be installed prior to the Ceremony? RECOMMENDATION: The Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee is asked to review the above Considerations and come to a Consensus on each of the Considerations, at this Meeting.
