City of Winter Springs Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Overview Urban Beauti ication Division Meeting Report -November 8, 2007 Steven T. Reuorts and Information 1. REW Custom Landscape is performing above standard in all areas. 2. Lightscapes Outdoor Lighting is performing to standard. 3. The bench located at the Lorie Taylor Memorial Garden has been replaced due to rotted wood. 4. Mulch is in the process of being installed by REW Custom Landscape. 5. The City Manager has given verbal approval for the installation of (2) decorative trash receptacles along the Oak Forest Wall as long as the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Board votes to go forward with their installation. Funds would be taken from wall expansion capital funding line code. Staff cautions the Advisory Board to delay a decision until the wall extension is completed due to potential unforeseen costs that could deplete any surplus funding for the wall expansion. C. Projects 1. Oak Forest Wall Extension. The City Attorney is assembling contract agreements for two easements needed for the wall expansion project based upon survey and legal descriptions provided by LandTech Survey and Mapping Corp. The cost for these services from LandTech totaled $1,146.75 and was paid from the wall expansion capital fund line code.
