Reports and Information 1 Central Florida Landscaping and Maintenance (CFLM) is performing to standard 2. Lightscapes Outdoor Lighting is performing to standard 3 TruGreen is performing to standard 4 There was an auto accident on 12/03/08, where a vehicle hit the Oak Forest Wall and landscaping at Oak Forest Drive and Tuskawilla Road No damage to the wall was detected, but plant repairs will be required The City has submitted a subrogation demand with the insurance company and is awaiting reimbursement for plant replacements. 5 There was also an auto accident on 12/26/08, where a vehicle hit the Oak Forest Wall located just south of Winter Springs Blvd. No damage to the wall was detected, but plant replacements will be required The City has submitted a subrogation demand with the insurance company and is awaiting reimbursement for plant replacements. 6. Pressure washing of the Oak Forest Wall is planned in the first part of 2009, for only areas of the wall that visibly need cleaning The cost should be less than $1,000 and is budgeted for FY '09 7 Staff is investigating several different paints that could be used when refinishing the Oak Forest entrance signs. It seems that in several small areas, moisture is entering from behind the finish and causing paint in these areas to fail prematurely A rubberized or textured coating to seal the signs is also being considered NOTES.
